A Family Table, Wide Open to Everyone
Sal-O-Mon Family Restaurant started with a simple idea: cook the food our own family grew up on, and share it with New Braunfels the way it was meant to be eaten — fresh, handmade, and unhurried. Every batch of corn tortillas is pressed and cooked in house, the guacamole is mashed to order, and our daily specials change with what's freshest that morning.
Guests keep telling us the same thing: this feels like a hidden gem. Whether it's ribeye tacos, a barbacoa taco estilo Los Altos de Jalisco, or our slow-cooked carnitas, every plate leaves the kitchen the way we'd serve it to our own family. Even four-legged family members are welcome to pull up a chair on the patio.
